Where are you located? Can I shop in person?
Our production studio and show room are located at Unit 7 464 Island Hwy East, Parksville BC here on the beautiful Vancouver Island.
We would love to see you in person! Our studio hours are Monday- Friday, 9:30-2:30.
How is my order shipped? When will I receive my order?
Orders are packaged in recycled brown paper with minimal materials to reduce waste. No plastic wrapping is used.
Most orders are printed and ready to ship from our studio in Parksville on Vancouver Island within 1–5 business days, unless otherwise noted.
Within Canada:
Lettermail Shipping: For Canadian orders, smaller items (like one t-shirt or two tea towels) ship by Canada Post letter mail without tracking by default. Once your package leaves our studio you can usually expect delivery in 1-3 weeks depending on your location. .
Tracked Shipping: Larger packages that do not qualify for free shipping will be sent via Chit Chats courier. Once your package leaves our studio you can expect delivery in 1-3 weeks depending on your location. You will receive a tracking number so you can follow your package on its journey to you!
Free Shipping: If your order is over $99 you qualify for free shipping! Free shipping packages are sent via Chit Chats courier. Once your package leaves our studio you can usually expect delivery in 1-3 weeks depending on your location. You will receive a tracking number so you can follow your package on its journey to you!
Expedited Shipping: Want your package sooner? No problem! Choose Expedited Shipping at checkout and we will ship your package via expedited courier (Usually Purolator or UPS.) Once your package leaves our studio you can usually expect delivery within 7 business days depending on your location. You will receive a tracking number so you can follow your package on its journey to you!

United States:
Orders shipping to the United States typically arrive within 4–6 weeks. This timeline includes order processing, cross-border transfer, and final delivery by USPS or your local carrier. All customs and duties fees are the responsibility of the customer and will be calculated and paid for at check out.
International:
International shipping is available on a case-by-case basis, and delivery times vary depending on the destination. All customs and duties fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Please note that Shopify may not accept certain international addresses at checkout. If you experience any issues placing an order, contact us at hello@kindredcoast.com for assistance.
What are your return or exchange policies?
We gladly accept exchanges. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery, and items must be shipped back within 30 days of delivery.
We don't accept returns or exchanges on custom items or sale items, but please contact us if you have any problems with your order.
Please contact us within 14 days of delivery if you would like to return your order. It takes up to two weeks for a refund to be processed on a credit card.
USA: Due to ongoing tariff regulations between Canada and the United States, we areunable to offer exchangeson U.S. orders. All sales to the USA are considered final. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

What if you don't have something left in stock? When will you make more?
If an item is out of stock, please click EMAIL ME WHEN AVAILABLE on the product listing page (Under sizes available) and we will reach out to you when the item in back in stock. Often we will have some more ready to be printed and can adjust the listing very quickly to enable you to purchase.
We can also offer to print a design on a similar tee if there's one that is completely out of stock at the time, so we may reach out to you with that offer.
I can't tell what size will fit me best. Can you help?
We totally can! Some of our tee's fit differently to others, so we know it can be confusing. We do have a sizing guide which you will see pop up on the right side of your screen when viewing the different garments.
Still not sure of your size? Just send us a quick email hello@kindredcoast.com saying what tees you are interested in, and your chest measurement or body type, and we'll do our best to guide you in the right direction so that you are truly happy with your new tees!
What if I accidently order the wrong size?
No problem! If your order hasn't shipped yet we can change the size for you. Just send us an email at hello@kindredcoast.com and let us know which size you need changed.
How do I care for my new shirts? Will they shrink in the wash?
Most of our products are preshrunk, and will not shrink with normal machine washing in cold water, and low dry cycle.
The only tees that might shrink with the first wash are the 100% Organic Cotton ones. You can expect up to 5% shrinkage.
To get the most longevity out of your tees we recommend cold water wash and hang dry. This will ensure you can continue to wear our sustainable clothing for many years!

How Sustainable is your company?
We aim to make Kindred Coast as sustainable as we can. We use sustainable fabrics such as organic cotton, recycled water bottles, bamboo, hemp and Tencel lyocell to make our clothing, and choosing to support fair labour here in Canada. We print our designs with eco friendly water based inks, and reuse packaging materials when shipping orders. We don't pack your orders in plastic, rather in recycled paper mailers. We know that it's a work in progress, and are always looking for more ways to improve and do our part.
